goodbye moomba crew
It was a sad day saturday, as my first boat left on the back of someone elses truck heading 12hours to northern quebec never to be seen again. It was a great first boat. We put over 400 hours of trouble free use on it, the engine runs as strong today as it did when I first bought it. I would not hesitate to recommend Moomba to anyone. I want to thank everyone that has provided any advice regarding servicing issues and anything else to me over the years. Always helpful.

Indeed a sad day. Are you getting a new boat?

definately getting a new boat. I'm trying my best to be patient and not jump at the first one! It's not working though. I have a great relationship with my local nautique dealership, and will be purchasing off them.

Sad day for sure but exciting to be scoping a new(er) boat nonetheless. Watch those rear side vents if you're loaded heavy for surfing - I was surprised to see how low they were on a Nautique I was scoping at the launch earlier this summer!
So when is this "old enough to know better" supposed to kick in?

Mmm Nautique, very nice. I was looking at one at the wakeboard tour here this spring, the wife promptly smacked me upside the head and told the sales rep I wasn't allowed in his booth anymore and should I return unescorted to have me shot... not very nice of her I didn't think...

Unfortunately, the nearest Moomba dealership to me is 4 hours away. And they don't exactly have a great reputation, not to mention the one time I made the drive to check out the LSV the sales man really hassled me, it was a pretty brutal experience. They were trying to sell a leftover 2008 lsv for like 50k. The Nautique dealership is 45mins from my front door, and it is actually the place which I bought the Moomba. I am not in the market for a new nautique, I am going to be staying in the used market, there is so much more value buying used.

I have been to both dealers, Bay Marine in Trenton would be the dealership I would buy from if I were to go Moomba again. I dealt with Wes there, good guy. Trenton is over 4 hours away from me, so that rules them out for me. The other dealership is quite far as well, but my experience there was not as good. Enough about that though, yes, thats a yellow loogey. shes sweet.
