Yours would be more like the ACME 541, which is a 13x12. You should give Nettles a call; they are very experienced and can really help.

rdtraveler, I have an 03 Outback as well, my trans is a 1:1. The props use a 1" keyed drive shaft. I think Mastercraft was the ones that used splined props. I have an OJ Legend 13x13 3 blade, prop on my boat. Very happy with it for general use-cruising, skiing, tubing. I have no experience with ACME props but people talk highly about them. I found my OJ (new in box) from a private party so that was my choice to save some $. Enjoy your new boat!

Acme askes for the ratio when inquiring about a prop so??? I know you guys have had experience with the boats and would know what is common. Moomba's prop sight says the original is a 13.5 x 16 for all around performance but I don't want to be running in "low gear" when I am just running the river. Not sure what the performance of these boats would be while not pulling.

I will also check the link on the tower, maybe can get the info off of it if it is the same tower. Thanks again, I can't wait to get it in the water.
Just so your not siapointed there is no Low or High gear. The boats are all 1 speed transmissions. The prop is what makes the deciding factor on how fast you go on the top end or how much power to come out of the water on the low end. Small diameter props tend to be higher speed larger diameter props tend to accelerate faster.

Thanks Hoopskier, Just what I was hoping for, real experience with what I have. It's almost as much fun readying for this but can't wait to get after it.
