    Default Wakeplate Repair

I need help troubleshooting a broken wakeplate. It is on a 2008 LSV. When I engage the lever, I can hear the hydrolics (or motor or whatever) and the plate moves about an inch and stops. It will return to that position when reversed. It's bascially operating properly but the range of motion is limited to about 10% of the normal range of motion. The fluid level is good. HELP!!!!

Did you fill the wake plate resivour and this is what happens now? Or did this happen and you checked the resivoir and it was still full? It could be that you have Air in the system if you added fluid or if you havnt added fluid then the strut could be sticking. You can unbolt the plate from the struts and see if one will extend farther then the other. If one does then id venture to say the shorter one is bad.
