Default Possible excellent deal on new surf rope

This looks like a nice surf rope starting at .99. Thought I'd pass it on.

I got that very one in blue/white for Father's Day. Its "ok" however I also made my own braided version out of three different ropes with a full size ski handle that I actually like a little better. Easier to hold onto when popping up and the thick part is much longer than the Pro line one. Still a good rope if you get a deal on it.
So when is this "old enough to know better" supposed to kick in?

Why would anyone EVER buy a used rope sight unseen??

Hell, I've got a couple ropes I would sell cheap - ignore the knots that hold it together.
