New surf board for intermediate
My wife and I share the Ronix Cortez 5'4". Recently we did a demo of the Ronix One Skimmer and Byerly Volt 4'10". We both loved the Volt and didn't care for the One. We are wanting to get a board with more of a surf style feel over a skim board. Any suggestions? We are both intermediates and can surf behind the boat without the handle for a long time.

I think its hard for hubby & wife to share a board if you both are looking to progress. Inland makes great surf style boards, so does Soulcraft. The new LF Hazen will be great when it is released.

lol true that's why I refered the calmarinesport website they have soulcraft, walker, triple x other custom fiberglass hand made boards. Mitch can really help and you can custom order boards through them also.
Plus free shipping if you want and great pricing.

I'm rocking the Inland Surfer Mucus for surf-style, and the Squirt with single fin for surf/skim hybrid. Just nailed 180 on the squirt last night, before going over and taking the board in the knee (ouch).
Depending on your weights, you may need seperate boards to progress. I wouldn't get a big board like the Woody unless you're a BIG dude (220+).2008 Mobius XLV | 325HP | Acme 1235| lots of ballast!
