    Default OBV tower option

This was a pic I saw from the AWS boat buyers reunion.
I thought it looked great. Its a Samson tower active installed.

Brilliant. Looks seamless and great with the NG OBV hull. I have to admit I was not a fan of these style towers but then I rode in a $120k Malibu the other day. It's amazing how unobstructed the driver's view is. And the lines are very clean. I like 'em now.

I agree, looks great. Did that person order the boat without a tower, or did they have to repair the fiberglass where the tower was originally mounted?

The cheapo Chinese towers that SC is using on the Outbacks now look like absolute crap, that's a huge improvement!

I like the look for sure - I'm up in the air though as to blocking the entrance into the boat on the sides where it is mounted. On a smaller hull like the OBV it's right smack dab in the middle. But they have to be mounted far enough back so that when they drop they'll clear the windshield.

On a 23-24ft boat me thinks it would be less of an issue.

You remember what they said Newty? I kinda recall mentioning it came with no tower and they put that one on to show a different option.
So when is this "old enough to know better" supposed to kick in?

nice- these towers are growing on me. especially like the fact that this one doesn't have the solid beam on the side.... looks much better to me

why don't they put the supra style towers on the Moomba as an upgrade instead of using the malibu tower?
