    Default Wakeplate Question

08 LSV, Reference picture. Is this in the all the way down position? (because that is as far as it will go)

yup thats as fare as it goes. it goes slightly lower then the rear of the boat. And when you put it up it only goes about 2 inches up.

I have a 2000 mobius V with a wakeplate that looks just like this and I don't understand what it is meant to be used for. When I lower it down to 50% I have a hard time seeing any noticeable difference, except that it seems at 100% the boat planes out a bit better... what is the reason to set it to anything less than 100%?

bret, I think it's purpose is to shape the wake. When mine is all the way down, the wake is noticeably steeper with a sharper edge. It's real handy if you're wakesurfing too, cleans the wave up and gets alot of the washout gone.

Ok so all the way down is probably 100% and all the way up is 0%... I'll have to maybe try it at 0% this weekend as I am still a beginner.
