Need a new board
I currently have a 142 ronix frontier. I am around 5' 11 and weight 180 lbs. I have had this board for about 4 years now and has served me well, but after trying my brothers Ronix Mana 142 it feels like a new animal. My board is heavy and not as responsive in the water, vs his Mana feels so light and quick on the water. I want something like his Mana (if not another mana myself).
What do you guys suggest? Something quick and light on the water, I guess I am looking at a wider board? What about height is 142 still good for my specs?

There are so many great boards in the Ronix line. Have you considered the Phoenix Project?

I am willing to try any brand really, not just Ronix. Problem is we don't have too much selection up here, we usually get Obrien and Hyperlite, maybe some liquid force. If you want something else you need to go out of the way to a specialty shop or order online.

Rode my brand new Slinghsot Hooke this weekend and loved it, can't rave enough about it!
I was looking at the SS Hooke, Ronix Pheonix Project, LF Watson Hybrid, LF Harley.
Those are some ideas.2016 Moomba Mojo

Haha, I have rode Ronix Boards, Company boards and am now riding a LF Watson Hybrid. I like the pop of the watson but it is a little loose for me. Don't get me wrong I love the board and it rides great but i wish it was just a bit more locked in.
It is one tough board though, very durable.Levi

I have never met anyone who has tried a slingshot and didn't love it. It will be hard for me to buy anything different. The board is flexible like a snowboard. Very soft landings and insane amount of pop!

I rode a Monarch a couple times back when they first came out. That board was really nice. It had a lot of pop and was nice and light with pretty soft landings. It was just a bit to small for me since I'm 6'2 225.
So I just stayed on my tried and true Marius which I LOVE !!!!07 LSV usually DUMPED
