Getting Stabbed on Mobius Cushion!!

04' LSV same problem, same pin holes in cusion. Recall issue I think but let's see what kind of company SC is. Come on guy's I'm counting on you to do the right thing.

Based on this thread we have been researching this issue. What we have found is that there is a small possibility of some boats getting a #12 - 1 3/4 inch screw instead of the speceified #12- 1 1/4 inch screw. We feel that the number of boats affected is quite small and random in nature, and only on the XLV and LSV stadium seat cushions. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. If you are one of the few that may have one of these seats with the longer screws, please contact your dealer to have replacement screws installed. Again, we apologize for any inconvenience. That would be nice to have the right size screw put in the seat, but like I said my concern is not with the screws. I already basicly took care of the problem by backing the screws out a bit. but what is S.C. going to do about the holes in my seat, because like I said small holes become big holes over time, with people on and off the seats all the time. Is this something that is going to be taken care of: re-vinyl or new seat. for the kind of money spent on the boat I would hope this is taken care of properly.

Please take the boat to a dealer and he can order a new cushion or vinyl as needed. It will be covered under warranty.

Very impressive SC, I am thrilled to see the way you listened to people's problems, did the research, admitted there could have been a mistake on some boats and stepped up and took care of it. Again very impressive.

I bought a new 04 Mobius LSV in Febuary and will be taking delivery as soon as the water here in northern indiana warms up a bit. I will have my dealer check this problem out before anybody walks on the seats and pokes holes (thanks to this thread) but it's really nice to know that SC will stand behind their product and take care of mistakes.
