I had a chance to try that years ago up at Blackcomb/Whistler on a sunny 60 degree day but I chickened out because it was about a 2-3ft dropoff into the pond! I'd say about 1 in 5 guys was making it all the way across!
So when is this "old enough to know better" supposed to kick in?

we used to do lots of the pond skipping but that was on snowboards in the ditches by the roads being pulled by quads. also used to do a lot of ditch wakeboarding and kneeboarding... more than once i got road rash from trying to bunnyhop an intersection/approach with my wakeboard.....

ah yes young and stupid back then... lol so much fun though!
