Ok so how long does it take you to leave the house and get on the water.

    About 10 minutes here.

We are at just over 30 minutes from the water, but factor in a gas stop, and getting the boat in the water, and we end up at 45-1 hour from the time we left.

55 minutes to the lake house where MOOMBIE is waiting, less than 1 minute from there...

15 minutes from front door to dock, but probably more like several hours to get the boat prepped, stop for gas, stop for beer/ice and then get up there.

20-25 min from the house when already loaded and ready to go.

Only 10 min from work and I can be pulling away from the launch! Trick is finding parking when I drag the boat to work with me in the morning...

It's hard to do sometimes but when I can I'll stop and top off the boat on the way home from a trip as opposed to on the way out. Can't tell you how many times I've sat in line waiting at the pumps while the sun is shining and the ice in the cooler is melting (along with my patience).
So when is this "old enough to know better" supposed to kick in?

About 10 minutes to get from my house and have the boat in the water. Anywhere you live in this area is no more than 10 minutes away.
