Distance to ride??
Hey guys I was just sitting here thinking about the weekend ahead and wishing I lived closer to a lake as it will take us right about 2 hours to get to the lake this weekend.
I was wondering how many others out there go the distance when getting your Moomba fix?
The closest lakes to me are 80 - 100 miles away...one way! I'm jealous of all of you who can come home from work and hit the water in less than 30 minutes for a few sets!
How long does it take you to get to your favorite or usual riding spot?

It takes me about 15/20 minutes to get in the water. I live on the lake but don't keep the boat in the water, have to launch it every time. Hope to solve that problem one of these days where I can just lower it off a lift and go.

Lake house on weekends , I too launch friday nights and remove the boat from the water sunday afternoon. Only problem I have is refueling, there are no marinas right on the lake so i've got to head to town for gas (with gerry cans)

I have 3 or 4 lakes within 1:15 to 1:30 away, and then there is the 12 hr drive out to the Okanagan for 2 weeks in the summer clean water and no bugs... although the water isn't as clean as I remember it 20 yrs ago...

3 lakes nearby. 2 within 30 minutes and the other within an hour.
There is also a small riding lake about 15 minutes from the house.
Gotta love the natural state.
For some reason I am making a 5 hour trek to Texoma this weekend, though.2016 Moomba Mojo

Keep mine at a marina. 10 minutes from my house to being in the boat and on our way. Unless I need to fuel up. Then 20 minutes.
If I had to trailer my boat anywhere and had to launch at a ramp my wife and I would be divorced within 2 months.....Skylar18

I am about 45 minutes away with traffic included. I have to pass by the always busy "Mall of Georgia" which sucks.
Boat is kept about 1/4 mile away from the water though which is nice. After I hook it up, I usually can pop a top within 10 minutes. Unless of course the BLI's (Boat Launch Idiots) are out.-Mark

2 lakes, one 25 min and the other 35 min away. I actually work near the lakes so I usually will take off a couple hours early once a week and get my boat from storage and get a weekday on the water which is nice because of minimal boat traffic
