Question for the ski sky fellas
At the end of the day I break down my launch ski sky and was wonder if any of you guys have just removed this bushing(at the base of the seat tower)?
It really makes getting the wing in and out a bitch. Talked to Brad at ECH and he said you can remove it but it does provide a little protection for the board.. Anybody remove it and if so has it caused any damage? thx

Do you use binding slime on that? It helps immensely.

I took ours out over 2 years ago and no problems yet. The worst part is taking the tower off to get to it.

I left mine in, remove the strut all the time , a little dish soap works wonders, but if your careful even thats not needed , at least for mine.

The LE t-bars do not have anything like that. The top of the t-bar fills up the space and it is only connected to the tower, it does not touch the board.
