    Talking Transmission fluid change

Can anyone tell me how to change the transmission fluid in a 07 Outback? I'm not sure if I can drain it, or if I need a special tool to pull the old fluid out.

First tool to use is the search function. You should get plenty of results and some will have pics to help you along.

Second tool to use is a fluid extractor. Cheapo ones from WalMart or Tractor Supply will work fine, but if you plan to do a lot of maintenance yourself, go for a better one.

Pela 6000 is a good extractor. The best prices I have found for them were on ebay when I bought mine last year. But your only looking at maybe a $5-8 difference from the Wholesale Marine, Marine Nutz etc.

    What can I say...I'm a bargain shopper.
