Default 2009 or Newer Outback V Rear Locker Hinges

2009 or Newer Outback V Rear Locker Hinges

Anyone know what the style/type of these hinges are called? Anyone know where I could get some decent hinges to replace the stock hinges?

These dang hinges bend at the slightest provocation... I can dang near look at them and they would bend... then the locker door won't shut and it makes me cranky...

I'd like to get some hindges that are much stronger, but I am not sure what the style/type of hinge is called, which makes Googling rather difficult.

I'll be giving Heidi at Atl Marine a ring later as Plan B.

    Thanks!

Nope, not a piano hinge. I wish a piano hinge would work as those are good strong hinges.

Wouldn't those be a type of butt hinge?

Not a standard butt hinge. One leg of the hinge is more or less normal it seems and the other is more like an L.

I'll have to take off rear storage locker door and remove the hinges and take picture.

Did you try goggling "butt hinge?"

Wonder what kinda weird results you'd get from that? Probably wouldn't want to do it at work.

Did you ever find out what kind of hinge this is?

I am interested in replacing mine as well. I looked at them this weekend and they bent.
