Default Connecting iPod to factory Kenwood

Has anyone done this yet or looked into ways to do it inexpensively? I'd like to make use of the boat's eletrical power and just have my iPod show up as another source? I have a 2004 Mobius LSV. Thanks.

I haven't looked at the back ot the head unit, but I believe it should have an auxiliary RCA jack that you could plug the ipod into. I imagine ipod makes a 12v adapter you could plug into the 12v plug in the glove box. I'm sure if you wanted to put the effort into it you could also find a flat mount wall type RCA plug in adaptor that you could cut in to the glove box. Hook that into the aux. jacks on the head unit and you've got everything you need to plug in your ipod and leave it in the glove box.
