prop shaft packing material???
I read how to repack but found nothing about material. What material do I need and where can I get it?

If you want to buy it locally try a marie store that specializes in sail boats. That's where I got mine - 3/16" flax packing.
None of my local motorized marina's had any idea what shaft packing was. Turns out sail boats with inboard engines all have shaft packing.2006 LSV
