    Default Great April Day Yesterday

Had a great day on the water yesterday. Got to start to get the feel of the new TripleX board. I really like it compared to the Broadcast. It's much faster but a lot more slippery. I ate it twice before this video. Air was about 75 and water 67.

Also got a wakeboarding run in after the kids were done. Just enough to stretch out the arms. Not running any ballast just wakeplate half way up. Need to drop some winter pounds-- that's for sure.

Thanks for posting. You obviously live somewhere nice and warm unlike your Canadian neighbor here! How old are your daughters? I was paying special attention to how the boat was driven in the first video - she does a great job! Think this year it's my 16 year olds chance to learn to drive so mom isn't stuck waking up at 6:00am on summer mornings! LOL

Mom won't drive unless there's no one else. I started when she was small -- teaching her all about what everything does. Then I'd let her drive all the way home at the end of the day. Later on, pull her brothers while I sat there next to her. She's 17 next month and is a very experienced driver. Younger one is 12 and I have to really get busy on her cuz there's only one more year till the older one heads off to school.

Funny thing is that I'm usually the only surfer so my daughter is a way more experienced surf driver than I am.

It's the Triple X Composite 58" board. Got it off ebay real cheap. I'm extremely happy with it. I'm about 225 right now and it rides just fine. It says it's rated for any weight and I was a bit suspicious. It can definitely handle it though. It has only one small fin so it's pretty loose but it makes it a lot of fun to ride.
