Preshipment water testing
When looking at this site, under CONSTRUCTION, one item says "Each boat is put through a rigorous set of lake tests prior to being shipped.".
I am trying to figure this one out. In the Moomba owners manual and in the Indmar engine manual it talks about the 10 hour break-in period. First hour, under 2000 RPM's, next hour, under 3000 RPM's, next 7 hours, under 4000 RPM's.
What type of rigorous testing is the boat put through. Don't get me wrong. I am glad they test thoroughly. I wouldn't want it any other way. Just trying to understand at what speeds/RPM's do they run them and for how long.
I have sent this question to SC two times in the past week, and have not recieved a reply. Have any of you ever thought of this or asked the question. I know they don't go out and run them ragged, but would still like to understand the process.
Thanks,
ClarkClark
