    Default Trailer Problems?

Does anyone have problems with their trailer leaving chips or marks on your boat when traveling large distances? Is there anyway to help this out?

It's probably your truck kicking rocks up at the boat. You could get some big mudflaps.

^ +1 Made a trip back from FL pulling the boat and upon return the boat was covered in all kinds of road grime. Thank God no chips in gel coat. My truck sits up pretty high so I added some fairly long mudflaps and it seems to have cured the problem for the most part.

I made one of those Rock Tamers using angle iron cut out a notch around the receiver and a square U bolt around the receiver so I have to unbolt it when I don't use it. You can get the flaps at a trucker store and I was able to cut one in half and that did the trick.
