Rub rail replacement
My new Moomba LSV has the rubber rub rails. My history with these on any boat is that they eventually start falling off. I have not actually see this on Moomba, I have on Malibu (peeking at boats in storage) and several I/O’s over the years.
Because of this I expect to be putting a stainless steel rail on someday. First, can you put a SS rail on later, second about what would it cost? Is there a compelling reason to do this now as opposed to waiting for it to fail?
Anyway, I added this to my list of dealer questions and thought I would also ask it here.
