It's awesome for boards especially because I don't have board racks. It will hold three wakeboards. The outer two are easy to put on, the middle one gets a little tricky becuase it's hard to reach.

Hard to reach? Don't you just pop the rear release pins and let it fold down? That's how i do it im to short to reach up there with the Z5 in it normal position

I just stand up on the gunwale to do it. When you flip it down I find that you need a partner to either hold the bimini or put the front of the board under the front bungee strap. I've only put three boards up there maybe 2 or 3 times because it's easier to just put them in the back lockers. That's another thing I love about the lsv, people are always amazed when I throw my board in the back locker.

The boat didn't come with them and we never really needed them because of the z5. Planned on getting some this summer but with the price of gas we will prolly just use that money on gas.

Default Moomba Used to Have Something Similar to the Z5

My 98 has an aluminum frame bimini that is really nice that came with the boat and I've only seen a few others like it. The bimini slides into a bracket on each side of the tower and then two small bolts on each side are attached. I have no problems on the water or trailering. I install it in June and take it off in September. I even lay it across the engine cover and the back of the boat to support the boat cover in the winter.

    zabooda,
I've seen those before a couple of times on older boats and often wondered why they discontinued or quite making them. Seems like a great upgrade and durable? Maybe they had to change due to tower design?

My bimini is specific to that type of tower as the mounting brackets have a sleeve to which the tower slides into and the bimini is tapered so it squeezes into the bracket and then a couple of bolts on each side keeps it from moving. It doesn't rattle and covers a large area. it seems with the price of the Z5 that others would be making something

looks like zabooda's cargo top is a precurser to the z5 top.

    what lake is that at?
