windshield spread
I am tired of the walk thru window getting jammed between the dash and frame. Has anyone here fixed this problem on their boat and how did you do it. If you have some pics it would help.

I had my dealer remount the windshield on my 99 Mobius. Lasted about a year. Mine does not get jammed, but it is definitely wider at the top.
If you believe something to be true, it will be - in it's consequences.

I added a screw to the windshield top frame next to the wing window on the port side (2 total on that side). It prevents the top frame from pivoting and I haven't had that problem or the frame coming off the glass since. I also trailer with the window closed.

I "fixed" mine and it works much better. Check out my Mods post for some pics.

I will say that the only issue I had was that I did this on the trailer. When I put it in the water, it was too tight. I kind of have to spread the windshield a tiny bit to get it to fit now.

mine would only get wedged every now and then usually when riding in rough water. I found the fix was to replace the rubber seal on the walk through window with new weather stripping (thicker padded stuff than OEM) and found some at the local Lowes store.
After install the clips that hold the walk through window down are very tight and keep the window snug and no problems since.
