    Default filling factory ballast bags

I know that all you do when filling the factory ballast is flip a switch. Where is the water pumped from? Are there special holes in the bottom of the boat, does it come from where the water comes in for cooling the engine,,,,, ?????? Also, do any of you have the water strainer, and is it for filtering trash that may be in the water?

The water for the ballast is picked up from a seperate pickup from the engine on the bottem of the boat. The factory ballast system comes with a strainer. I also added the strainer on the engine water pick up.
