Hyperlite State
Am looking at buying a Hyperlite State w/Remix Bindings. Has anyone rode this board before? Just trying to get some feedback on this if I could.

I have the 2010 State 140 with the Focus bindings, one step up from the Remix bindings. I really like the board, the bindings in 2010 were questionable, a lot of flaws with the design. Hyperlite fixed all of the issues for the 2011 model, they stand behind them and will replace them when my local wakeboard shop gets more in stock. I also replaced the fins on the board from a 1.5 to a 0.7, makes a big difference. All in all, great board for the money, in my opinion.

I got my new board in today and it's going to be 12 degrees tonight. I can't wait for winter to get over.

Congrats on the new board! Bet things are a little quiet in Tuscaloosa this week (compared to last year).

It's a good board, I'm sure you'll like it. I'd definitely get some .7" fins for the center, or just remove them completely. You probably know this but make sure you get your bindings set up with the toes toward the toeside edge as this board isn't symmetrical.

I have already installed the bindings. Yes, I did know that they went on one way. I did some extensive research on the board. I am no pro at riding but I hold my own I guess. Thats why I picked this particular board. I am 52 and trying things that I probably shouldn't be trying. I wanted a fairly stable board. Am just learning how to jump the wake. I am glad to hear good things aboutr the board. Thanks

Things are real quiet here in T'town. They are not exactly real happy this year.
