Outback 2000/2001
Hello i was wondering about the Moomba Outback i went to owners manuals and there was none for 2000/2001. I have found a Outback that he says is a 2001 with a small leak in the gas tank, How much work would it be to lift the floor, or what other methods could i take.
Thanks
Dan

I just bought a 1999 outback at the end of summer. It only had 157 hours on it. I found a manual on it here somewhere. But I can't remember where right now. But as for your question. You have 4 screws that hold down the back floor plate. And one to open the middle part of the back seat. You can take the back floor plate out with the engine cover attached. It is hot hard. But that is as far as I have needed to go. I had to tighting up the packing nut on the shaft. Plus work out a few other bugs. That come up from just sitting around and not being used. How bad does the tank leak? And are you sure it leaks? Because I really don't see how someone or something could put a hole in it.
