Default Imagine that, 4 months later and rear axle goes out

I will never have another Boatmate trailer. Front axle torsion goes out in July and now my rear goes out as I'm pulling it out of storage.

Victim of a bad bunch of axles that were known to be possible defects according to part numbers but yet no recall on those known trailers with known potentially defective axles that were made in 2008

Is boatmate at least paying for the fix or are you paying for it yourself?

From all the searching the Internet about this issue, the bulk seemed to be 08 but did go back to 06's. I even read one post in which Boatmate did warranty an axle approximately 3 years after purchase date

I already know the drill on contacting Boatmate so I'll find out once I email the photos and get my axle part number. They asked for both my axle numbers when the first one failed 4 months ago

My 06 failed. It failed the day the seller and I were to meet so I could pick it up. Boatmate warranted it. He was shipped a painted axle witha brake line installed, and he had to ship the old back.

ya, I thought this was beyond the '08's, but that they were the worst of the bunch as far as failure goes. it does happen, and I would have to say boatmate could leave us high and dry, but for them to fix at least part of the cost of axles that are 4 years old is nice.

sucks tho like any "vechicle", seems that the parts always break at the most opportune times
