    Default Perfect Pass

I just bought a 05 XLV and got about 1500 cash to improve the boat from the dealer. Should I add perfect pass and the rear Grvity Games ballast?

I would do whatever it takes to get both, 2 bags and the PP, You WILL be much happier in the end.

2 bags and Perfect Pass is for sure the way to go. You really want them factory or dealer installed so that they are covered by warranty. The important part of the 2 rear bags being factory installed is the electrical and the plumbing.

I purchased PerfectPass Wakeboard Pro for $950 and installed it myself with ease and no problems what so ever. It was the best aftermarket investment so far!! Definitely a must, especially for such a heavy boat at slower speeds.
As far as the rear bags go....dont waste your money on the "Gravity Games" bags since they are custom made and will cost approx. $240 each. However, they (Barefoot International Fly High) make a 600lb fat sac at $80 each.
With 1200lbs in the rear and the stock 700lb bag in the front, it holds up to the 60/40 theory posted prior.
    Good Luck!!!!!

Definetly get the pp. i got a fully loaded mobius lsv with 2 big bertha ballasts in the back and 1 in front and a hydraulic wakeplate. if u can afford the ballasts, get em and get the wakeplate when u can. it really helps the shape if the wake.

    Hey XLV Jay,

    Just curious!!

if you wakeboard a lot, defintely get both! PP is heaaven sent and helps when you have inexperienced drivers. All they have to do is drive straight and not worry about steady speed. If you like a large wake, you can get bags custom made to your specs. I've had 12 guys in the boat and 1300# of ballast with no problem with the wake rolling over (i have a wakeplate too) the wake was friggin huge!!! just my $.02
