I second the Perfect Pass. The only other thing you might want to consider are the pop-up cleats.

I think the CE has to do with canadian certification.
Perfect pass is worth every cent no matter what your skill level.
Add tower speakers, snap on covers and a heater.

Here are some things that I believe are a MUST have in a new boat
Snap-in carpet, Perfect Pass, Pop-up cleats, Tower (of course),Wakeboard racks, 3-bag ballast system, snap-on Cockpit and Bow covers, bimini, and the wakeplate.

First, let me say that Gordon has always been right on with his postings. But, I have to say, based on all postings here and on wakeworld, Gordon's is the absolute first that had any bad things to say about the wake plate. I have found the wake plate to be absolutely invaluable for helping get the boat on plane heavily loaded and for fine tuning the wake shape. Go with it.

First I would like to say that everyone is entitled to there own opinion. And this post is not to start a verbal fight or anything like that.
As for the wakeplate, he said that he was going to be buying his boat at the boat show this January. If you buy from a boat show they usually give you 3 or 4 add-ons (or upgrades if you will) for free. The wakeplate has been one of those upgrades in the past and I figure if you can get an $800 upgrade for free why not.
I would also like to say that the Snap-in carpet is also a big plus. I really enjoy keeping everything in my boat clean and in the best condition possible. And after going to the lake you often get sand and stuff on the carpt and it is really nice to be able to take it out and vaccum it out of the boat just makes it on heck of a lot easier.
But as i stated before this is all just opinion, and i hope it all helps in choosing your new boat.
