Stereo Installation
I installed a Pioneer CD player, Kicker 12" Sub, Rockford Phosgate 400W amp, and 4 Kenwood 6 1/2" speakers in our 2000 Kanga. I can be listening to the stereo with the engine off, and when I go to start the engine I get a loud pop in all the speakers. I have to turn off the stereo before starting the engine. I have large gauge wiring, I am grounded to the battery and engine, and I have installed a relay. Anyone have any sugg???

You're probably getting that popping sound from the amp shutting down and turning on again. Try placing a noise suppresor inline between your amp and power supply. It might help.
