Summer is officially over here
I guess this means summer is officially over...
The channel where I normally like to go was only about 3.5-4ft from the Oregon side clear out to the island! If you picked the right line you could have waded all the way across...So when is this "old enough to know better" supposed to kick in?

Yeah it was gorgeous here yesterday. Put about 4 hours on the motor. Amazing weather. Water temp is still in the low 80s here.

Yep, you & me are what some of my neighbors call me: "DAMN YANKEE" 'cause I have no plans on moving North again. Love to visit the snow, but no desire to ever shovel it again.

And its funny, because 99% of southerns have no idea who Mason and Dixon were, where the line exists, or where the term "redneck" came from. But they sure can poke fun.

pulled the docks lifts and boat today. at day break it was 34 with frost. water temp still in the mid 60's and it was a beautiful day as it hit 70. cleaned out the lake house a bit and some fall green thumb yard work was done.

Wish I was just now finishing for the summer. Living in Wyoming I had to winterized the boat shortly after Labor Day

Wamsutter? Must be southern WY?
Been nice enough around here to not have to winterize yet. Hoping for 1 more set before I put her up for the season. A year ago today it was 16 degrees Supposed to be 75 thursday so should be good enough to get wet!
