Default what are your planned upgrades for this winter???

I have a fairly large list as i just got my boat in the middle of august this year.

    1. Install PP Stargazer.. i have it and it's supposed to be a "plug n' play"

    2. upgrade prop to an ACME 1235 from the stock prop

    3. replace cabin speakers with Polk DB651's and 6 channel amp

    4. completely redo how the amps are mounted and how the wires are ran -- the guy i bought it from just threw everything in and didn't hide anything

    5. replace the stock ballast pumps with Tsunami's and maybe add a second inlet

    6. plumb in a bow sack and tie it all in with the stock GIII system

    7. build a rock guard and spare tire mount for the front of the trailer

    8. Install transom light purchased in the group by... thanks newty!!!

    9. reattach the boards on to the trailer... noticed a couple of the lag screws are getting loose

    10. get a second job to pay for it all!!!! lol!!

I had budgeted 30K for the boat and came in well under that so the money is there to get it to where i want.

    So what about everyone else???

Here's my list, but we'll see how funds play out this winter..

pp stargazer for the gps ability.
    new boat numbering
    good buff/wax

spent all my coin last year on stereo and prop. only big thing left is ballast, and for now, I'll live with it
my bigger project is on the tow rig. Ford used substandard exhaust studs on the 5.4triton motor in the early 2000's and about 50% of them are broken. exhaust leaks.. going to be a challenging repair..

I'm sure there are a lot on here that are interested in the carpet replacement, so if anyone does it (*cough *cough deafgoose), be sure and document with tons of pics

I am not sure at this point but either way it needs to be done badly.

I will see how much the stickers cost. I might just got for a 3/4 wrap.

I buff and polish my own boat. Not sure I would want/trust someone else doing that type of work. As far stickers that is also really easy to do. They peel off super easy, just make sure you either do it on a hot day or have a hair dryer handy.

Scrap carpet and find an alternative, Nuteak, seadeck, snap-in. Dunno yet.
Go to a 3 rule pump system
Maybe some exiles for the tower.
Matching spare tire and wheel w/ mount.

    Transom LED
    LED's in Cupholders
    A good detail

I was looking to find last years list thread to see what I accomplished. I think I did pretty good but for the LED's in cupholders but couldn't find it. Maybe it's been purged?

Most projects will be upgrades to my tow rig

I live in a condo with no garage so I have nowhere to park the boat to do my own work. I need to have it acid washed because I keep my boat in the water all season long. I will hire a professional so I am sure it will be better than what I could do.
