Default How far should the Wake plate go down?

does the wake plate level out with the boat or does it extend down pass the streamline of the boat. Is there an oil level I have to check for the wake plate and any other maintainance? thanx

if i recal the plate BARELY goes below parrellel with the bottom of the hull. most of the movement is up.
theres no oil. they are electronic actuaters, not hydrolic cylinders.

Stang Killa is correct, it barely goes past parallel. On my '07 however they are electric/hydraulic actuators with a fluid tank mounted behind the rear bench in the engine bay.

My 08 uses 2 hydraulic cylinders, and probably drops 15 degrees below level. 09 and up switched to a single electric actuator.
