Sub in the LSV
So I finally got around to getting the Kicker sub installed above the kickplate in my LSV.
Ripped the carpet off the prefab box and rhino lined it... not pretty, but hopefully effective. Here are the pics of the sub. Install pics to come.

Adsman, nice work. I recently did the exact same thing (minus the rhino lining). It worked well, once I got the fuse panel moved enough to get the sub to fit on top of the footbox. It sounds pretty good. It's a dual 2ohm VC so it's pulling 4 ohms off my amp, but it still sounds good - and doesn't drive my amp quite as hard.
Real nice choice, let us know how it turns out. I never took any photos, but I hopefully will soon.2015 Supra SC400

I need to replace my sub and looking at all the options. I'd like to see pics of where/how you guys mounted yours if you wouldn't mind uploading some photos.

install pics. Lucky enought not to have to move the fuse panel (barely)
Originally wanted to have the sub fire towards the hull, but I just didnt have enough room... sounds kickn'... very happy

I have the same speaker and built my own box about the same size as the one you have then rhinolined it. I just bought a JL M600/1 to run it and it sounds great. I am suprised the box is still together.
