I believe the 2002 LS has a 27 gallon tank.... when my 2001 Outback LS shows 'E', I've filled up a bunch of times with about 20 gallons or so... Nice to know there was still gas in it, but it's nerve racking when the gauge is on 'E'!

When we wakeboard we usually only have 250lbs on each rear sac but when we surf...3,500lbs of ballast not including 2-3 passengers so I take a hit on fuel when surfing

It's actually 28 gallons. I looked at the manual wrong - the Outback has a 27 gallon tank.

28 for Outback LS, and Mobius.

I have a 2001 Mobius DD, and it too has a 27/28g tank. I get about 4-5hrs of play time per full tank of gas.
