Default Front fat sack compartment stays wet

I just noticed that my front compartment in the floor that houses the front fat sack doesnt drain water very well and there was tons of mildew and stagnant water. I removed the sack and everything in that compartment and cleaned it out. How do I avoid this in the future? It seems the drain for it is too high to let all water to drain from it. Thanks!

common problem and lots of posts on it.
    I don't think you will find a "fix-all" answer.

I clean mine out every few months.

There pretty much isn't much you can do, unfortunately. I remove my ski locker bag each time, and dry it out. I've put a plug in the drain hole in the ski locker (per Brainrinse) and it seemed to keep the majority of the water out, but, I still get some seepage thru that drain hole as it's not sealed completely.

I'd recommed pulling the ski locker bag once in a while and just letting things air out. That's really the best option. Even if you plug the drain hole, you'll still get water in there if the carpet gets wet on top of the ski locker, or near it, as it'll naturally drain in.
