You'll definitely need to get a new prop if you want to consistently run that much weight. It's hard on the transmission to run that heavy otherwise. Then speed up and add rope.
Or just skip the ballast when you have a full boat.

Well, I think I. Need a wakeboard prop. I don't think youn guys read this right. I could not get above 14mph at all. Until I moved eveyone in the boat to the front and even then it took forever!

Just got it and I had the wakeboard prop (now my spare). Now I didn't mind the wakeboard prop as it did fine even with 3,000lbs of water ballast and 5 people in the boat during out surf session. However, I'm not going to say it could get on plane with that weight because I would never need to get on plane with that kind of weight.

I have 2650 lbs, and we regularily run it full with 6-10 people in the boat and it planes just fine. It steers sluggish, but thats to be expected with that much weight. We ride about 23-24 with that much weight but the wake is size large. I have the wakeboard pro 14.24x14 and I have the Cat340 engine.

So If I get the Acme 1235 prop can I run at wakeboard speed (22-24) with my 2650lbs-2700lbs of ballast with 6 or so people and plane out fairly quickly? I thought I read on wakeworld somewhere that someone was running about the exact same weight as me but he had the 1235 and he plained out around 11 mph?
