Seriously - two bolts and two places for wires. I paid some jackass $500 to replace in my old I/O

    Did that include the starter?
If not that does seem like a lot of money. But I fought one of the bolts when I removed mine. At the time I would have paid whatever to have someone else replace it. Now I feel a lttle better about it, but havnt gotten the new one in to reinstall yet.

    I may be wishing again

It was actually for the solenoid, the starter went a week later. I pulled it out and took it to a marina then for another $300
