Default Landed my first 360 today!

I've been close to riding out my 360s for about the last year now, but could never keep up with the wave, and would fall out of the pocket, or I would over-rotate. Finally rode away from one today, and it was sweet.

I didn't even have to pump the board, just landed right in the pocket and kept riding.

Of course, I didn't have the video camera, but I'll post some vid of the next session, where I'm hopefully landing them at will!

Congrats man, that had to be a great feeling. I can get around on them consistently but I usually end up too high in the wake to ride back down into the pocket. Hopefully by the end of the summer I'll stick one. What board you riding?

I ride a Walzer Alpha Twin Tip board. Walzer went out of business a little while ago, so they don't make them anymore, but it's a great all-around board if you ever get a chance to ride one.

    Thumbs up

    That is a great board.

I too have a tendency to not catch the wave after. I found starting a bit into the flats helps. I land a few each time out now. Fun stuff
