Actually got ranked
So my one tournament got me ranked. I just checked and I am ranked 13th in the state (MN) and 353rd in the nation in slalom for Mens 5 .... So I guess that makes me an expert

great man thanks- the path for me is clear; ski school this fall, Grassroots next year and see where it goes after that; I'm 33 right now so in 2 yrs it looks like I would get to move to a "more seasoned" division.
Are the rules/speed requirements the same for each division? It seems like I remember you or sled mentioning that in some of the divisions you can start shortening the rope at 34 mph instead of going all the way to 36?2021 Malibu 23 LSV

Mens 3 drops to 34 mph max.... As you go up it gets slower. I was just at a tournament where a guy in Mens 9 ran the course in jump skis at about 22 ?? I don't think you are ever required to us a slalom ski - just make the bouys... We see 8 year old girls doing the course in combos at about 20 mph.

My 9 year old (Garrett Reese) is ranked 33rd in B1 on that site. He will be skiing in the regionals next weekend in Wilimington, IL in slalom and trick. Fun stuff...

That is excellent - what is opening speed for B1 in slalom? Do you have him on long line? or 15 off? Did he learn it all from you?
