Bow stop vs Roller?

Has anyone swapped out the roller to a bow stop? We have the yellowish-clear roller on our trailer, but often the bow will drift one way or another. It rarely stays in the middle and once it even drifted off the side of the main roller and went into the gapin between the roller and the outer part of the roller (if this makes any sense). Would a bow stop be better or am I the only one having an issue with this? Side note - we never had this issue with our 07 Outback and it had the same setup, only a black roller and not the clear one.
