Winterize Ballast system?
This will be my first winter A. with and inboard and B. with a ballast sytem to winterize. Any helpful tips?
Go big or go home!

I take the bags out, and wash them. Roll them up to get all the air out. I disconnect all the couplings at the fill valves and let them drain. I don't hook them up till the next season in case there is any water left in them. You can use an air hose to push water out of the fill lines and drain lines, only takes a few minutes.
After I winterize the motor, I put a small ceramic heater in close to the motor and plug it in on days with the temp getting around 35 and below. No problems at all.Medic151
