    Default Exhaust noise

    Hi there.
    I have a LSV -08 with the 325.
What have you guys done to reduce the noise from the exhaust pipes? Is the FAE the only possible solution or is there anything else you can do? I really like my boat but the engine noise is really annoying when you try to talk while driving.

    Mike,

I have the FAE and that was the main reason for getting it. Makes the boat super quiet at "no wake" speeds, and quiet enough when surfing to talk to the surfer.

Exhaust noise? These boats don't have any exhaust noise. I am trying to figure how to make my boat sound right like the late 80's ski boats did. Any one remove their mufflers?

I can't see where these silent ride tips would work real well with the wakeplate in the way?

I looked at that too. Does it look to you like the angle of the cut at the end of the opening would match the angle of the wakeplate in the "all the way up" position?
