    Default 1100lb bag

Just a note to all who use this and maybe the 750lb .......i've noticed some bowing of my engine compartment starboard material between the 2 hinges after multiple uses of this bad bag.......I would suggest a 3rd hinge or a metal angle bracket behind the hatch to prevent the bowing......also the screws attaching the hinge to the door are pretty short.....would suggest longer screws or thru bolting with washers to prevent failure due to the increased pressure from this big bad bag.

sorry if this has already been brought up

Ed, I do the samething with my 1100's, lean them towards the hull and there is less pressure on the dividers.

I went to lowes and got some 3/4" square aluminum bars that I hacked down and fastened to the divider wall and floor with 'L' supports. Works great. (note: different boat but probably the same as I popped my divider wall with the 1100lb)
