Went to AutoZone and bought a 12v plug for $8. Tapped the depthfinder into the wires with the 12v plug. Plugged in the GPS and now the GPS and the depthfinder are both on Accessory switch 2. It works perfectly. Thanks for all the suggestions.

Sometimes GPS units are not 12v and there is a resistor in the cig lighter plug. So it is wise to buy an outlet and add it, instead of cutting your wire to your GPS unit and taking apart the plug and removing the resistor and soldering it inline. Then when you want to remove your GPS unit, you can sell it or put it in your truck or someone else's with no problems
