    Default Amp Mounting Pics

    Anyone with an obv 06 to 08, pre 06 lsv or OB DD have pictures on multiple amps installed behind the spotters seat. i am looking for mounting ideas.

    PS i also have two batteries up there.

    I have an 07' LSV. not sure if this will help. My two batteries are behind the smaller amp. I connected quick connect to the batteries for the trickle charger. here is the pictures

    mandley, LOL funny we are on the same page.

    Tazz the lsv and xlv have huge compartments that i could sleep in.

    Mcmoomba. Is that a false panel that you built to mout the amps to?


    my batteries now are pushed up against the bow seats.

    JM, it is a removable panel that I think is standard from factory. When I puchased the boat I had the dealer/Earmark put in an extra amp, tower speakers and sub. The amp they installed was a 400 watt Alpine that I changed last year to the Kicker 700.5. So to answer the question "I" did not add the panel.

    MCMOOMBA, your correct, that's the one that came from the factory...at least that's exactly like the one in my Outback. Its getting moved over to the side of the boat as we speak, just waiting for the glue to dry on the first "mounting block" to dry, second gets done in the morn.

    must have been an 08 upgrade since they started adding amps in 2008 in my 07 i can reach under the bow seat an get all the way back to the batteries pictured. Hmmn.... may have to build one..

    Ya, once you take it out you can see right up under the bow seat.

    Just a single 700.5 in my Outback - once it stops snowing I am going to re do the install though. Too cold out in the garage, damn winter, lol.
