Dog days of summer

Got up on the surf board with my dog. I've been wanting to do this for awhile. I haven't been able to free ride yet, but I'm sure we will get there.

He does have a tendency to sit down suddenly, though and at 80 pounds that makes a dramatic difference. We'll have to work on that.

We did an in-water start. The life jacket was actually quite handy to hold onto him as we started and is obviously great for his safety as well.

nice work. I am thinking about introducing the surfboard to my daughter and will probably try the same approach.
