Default What can i do to improve my wake?

Im Surfing on a Lsv 2006 with g3 ballast at 12 mph. The Ballast on the surf side is full. The front one, half full and the other one empty. The plate is up to the middle and we put all the people that we can on the surf side... When the boat is full of people, the wake is ok but when there is just 2/3 persons in the boat, the wake is not as good and not really clean...

Any suggestions on a different setup or ballast upgrade?

    Thanks!

Fill the front bag all the way up. Also try the wake plate all the way up.

Check your speed with GPS first but 10 mph works better for us.

I'd guess 10mph and wakeplate all the way up, fill the front bag full to get some length to the wake, and make sure you are running at least 750's in the rear on the surfside.

As everyone is saying, 750lb rear surfside, front bag filled, wakeplate up(bowhigh) and 10mph-calibrated with gps. Put all the people balast on the surfside.

Weight in the bow really helps. Throw a couple people up front once you get bigger bags in the rear.
