    Default 99 Outback with several mods - lots of pics

    I bought this boat as my first inboard boat I have ever owned. When I brought it home I saw several things I wasnt happy with so I started making the changes. Everything I have done to it I found out how from this site and from a couple members here.

    New shaft packing and new hardware
    New impeller
    New NGK plugs
    New oil filter and oil change
    New gas/water separator
    New Alpine CDA-9886M radio (on level 10 it can be heard @ 90' very easy without boat running)
    New Alpine MC-10 wireless remote
    New JL Audio power wire and remote wire
    New JL Audio RCAs
    2 New JL Audio distribution blocks
    New JL Audio master fuse block
    New speaker wire ran inside tower (had junk speakers on tower with wire taped to the outside of tower)
    New Stoltz bow stop
    New Stoltz keel roller (easy to remove bolt and polyloc nut)
    New keel pads with recessed bolts and nuts (lag bolts through to wood suck)
    New Liquid Trends box painted to match the boat (with MOOMBA sticker my daughter designed & made)
    10 New Polk Audio DB651
    New Kicker 10" Solo-Baric L5
    I built a 12x12x12 sealed box waterproofed it with rhinolining
    New Kicker ZX500.1 for sub
    Used Kicker ZX200.4 that I bought off of here for towers and cabins
    New Cobra 3000 watt power inverter
    New Shopvac to inflate and deflate 3 person tubes and clean up messes
    2 New group 27 batteries with boxes
    New blower hose throughout the boat
    New BassPro XPS i series 2 bank charger and plug in the dash
    New red and white LED trailer runway lights that I build
    New red LED lights inside the boat that I build
    New white LED lights in the compartments that I build
    New cargo nets to hold ropes
    New sticker and numbers all over (some my daughter designed & made)


    Only other thing I can think of that I might do next year:
    New carpet
    GPS since I get lost very easy LOL
    Seadek transom pad
    PerfectPass StarGAZER
    Rims on the trailer to match my suv
    I want some angle cut exhaust tips BAD

    The Alpine is very nice and easy to use. I have an Ipod on it and you just scroll right through the lists from the deck or the remote on the transom.

    Very nice upgrades. My '98 has some potential after all. I'll need to talk to you when I start doing mods as I like everything you did.
