Thanks for the links! My marina just called this afternoon and it was wires 5 and 7 crossed! 1 hr labour and I'm back on the lake this weekend. My ski buddy who has a malibu winterized my boat and he says he must have crossed the plugs wires up! I will be labelling the leads and the cap so this doesn't happen again! I wish I would have had this info at the lake it would have saved me alot of grief!

Glad to hear it's all good. +++ to all of us who suggested timing but major props to LSM who suggested crossed plug wires. Nice work gentlemen!

I hate you had the problem but I'm glad that fixed it. - and it was a cheap fix too..
